Big Truck!

These are pics and videos of Asher's first ride in a BIG TRUCK. We found out a way to turn off the air bag in the moving truck so Asher could ride in it. He loved it!!

Packing

This is Asher playing with bubble gum. He didn't know what bubble gum was so he never tried to eat it. He just played with it for hours while we packed. There is a video at the end of the post.

He really liked the empty spaces we were creating. He begged me to play hide and seek. He always hid in the same spot. (this one)

And the pile of boxes began....

...and got bigger. I think there were roughly 60 by the end! (ridiculous)

We're Back!

I love this one.

I'm not sure if you can tell but Asher is giving Pink Cow some milk like I'm giving Bella milk.

This was Asher's favourite place to play indoors at our old house. I loved watching him - it was like it was his extra high work bench. He could see the neighbours walking in and out and towards the end of our time there, he was announcing our friends' arrivals.

Handy-Man Daddy

Here is a picture of Asher's saw. It used to have an orange plastic handle. His Auntie Tracy gave it to him for his birthday and it was his favourite toy. He wore down the plastic ridges sawing everything. But it couldn't handle Asher's dedication to his craft and it finally broke. The pieces were on the kitchen table and he wanted to play with the orange handle part but I said no, lest it break more. I told him we had to wait and see if daddy could fix it for him. Later, I found him sitting in a kitchen chair just staring at it. :-( Scott came home and managed to fix it in 45 minutes!! Here is the finished product complete with its new wooden handle.

Annika, this is a video of Asher opening your present. It's okay but not the best. It's all I got though so I'm posting it for you! If you pay attention, you'll notice that at the end, he's tearing off all the yellow sticky notes you put in there with the translation. This is why the video suddenly ends because I realize this and am worried I'll never be able to read him his new Finnish book! :-)
