Pickin' A Pumpkin

And we picked a pumpkin. We just had pumpkin soup last week so when we got to the barn to pay for our pumpkin, Asher sat down and said, "I wanna eat punkin soup." He doesn't realize we aren't eating this one.

We bought some corn off the back of a truck from a farmer along the side of the road. We ate it that night - sooooooo good.

Picking Apples

We also picked a bunch of apples on our tour.

Circle Farm Tour

For Scott's birthday, we went on the Circle Farm Tour out in the Fraser Valley. Yes, his birthday was in June but we kind of had a crazy summer so we just got around to going last weekend. It was a fun day! This is a picture of the boys at a small dairy where they make lots of different kinds of yummy cheese.

We got to see happy chickens and turkeys.

Asher got to feed the goats right out of his hand! At first they surrounded him and managed to separate him from Scott. Needless to say, he was a little worried but he recovered quickly - thankfully.
At a different time, he bent down in front of one of the baby goats and said, "Hi Wittle Goat. Come!"

Asher's First Music Lesson

Andrea came over with some musical instruments and let Asher play.
He was mesmerized.

To him they were both guitars. One little and one big.

Fashion Goddess

This is Bella sporting the green sweater given to her by Anne Sue. She found it in a thrift store in Denmark - obviously some precious Danish granny knitted it. Bella looks ravishing I think...

Bella wants more than just Milk

I tried to wait until she was 6 months old to feed her solids. I wanted to! But she wouldn't have it. She tries her hardest to get any food near her so...I started the rice cereal and she would eat it all day if I'd let her I think.

Early Morning Puzzles

Asher and I were hanging out in the kitchen doing a puzzle so we didn't disturb Anne Sue sleeping.
