Roots of Empathy-Part 3

I know some of these pictures are similar to what I posted before but it shows how much he changes from visit to visit.

Bulletin board in the school we visit.

This is the goodbye song the kids sing us at the end of our visit!

Daily Life

Brent and Scott making diaper wipes on a Saturday afternoon. I guess the grad students welcome a mundane task now and then...

Happy Halloween!

Go Yankees! "My dad makes me wear this..."

Hanging out with Tracy in the rocking chair. Don't be confused - this is not his mother!

Mommy & Asher

Roots of Empathy-Part 2

The class was trying to figure out how much he weighed. They did this by weighing us together, then weighing me and subtracting.

Here they are measuring how long he is and comparing that to how long they are.

Roots of Empathy-Part 1

In the two pictures above, Michelle, the instructor, was demonstrating how hard it is for a baby to hold his head up. Asher has a very strong neck though and seemed to really like this position!

Michelle was showing the difference in Asher's interest of black/white verses colour. There was also a panel with a mirror. He really locked into that one - saw how handsome he was and couldn't take his eyes off!

Bath Time

Asher LOVES the water!

Don't be deceived. He doesn't love drying off and getting his clothes changed.

Stanley Park Adventure

We took Asher on an adventure to Stanley Park for some light family hiking.

He loves the outdoors.

He intended to suck his thumb but fell asleep before it reached his mouth.

Your feedback was heard so...finally, a picture with mommy!

Annika's Outfit

This is a tribute to Annika's hip Finnish outfit!

Videos: Asher Talks/Stares at Feet

He's a talker...wonder where he gets that from??

He notices his feet the most when wearing this pair of socks from his friend, David. Well done, David. You have contributed to our son's development.

Asher Lounges

Welcome!

Asher enjoys reading with dad...

"Thanks for the new clothes Aunt Laura!" Go Tar Heels!

Suzanne, I think Asher likes this better than your finger!
