The Garbage Truck

Nana sent Asher his very own garbage truck. He played with it for three straight hours after opening it with the exception of eating dinner. Needless to say, it was a hit. Thanks Nana!!

We bought Asher ear muffs so he could ride the lawn mower with Scott. He really doesn't like it when things are too loud. Both he and Bella are getting some good use out of them. They come in handy when he plays his drums too. ;-)

Bella has worn them just around the house for an hour straight! I think she likes to tune me out.

Bella Picking Blueberries

She got really good at it. She learned to pick the blue ones and not the green ones. And when she got a blue one, she sat down and relished in the moment of eating it.

Special Guest

Justin Marples and Asher picking blueberries together. He was in the area visiting his son and it worked out great for us to have a quick visit.
Justin was the boss of both Scott and I while we worked at UBC in Vancouver. He has remained a friend even though he has yet to come through with soccer (MLS) tickets.
