This happened right after Anne Sue called the other day. My favourite part is what he says at the end ("I fink Anne Sue will weally wike that!"). He turns away from the camera as he says it so listen closely.

He wasn't prompted for this I swear! I think Scott was talking about you when he picked up Asher from a nap and the next thing I knew, Asher ran into the living room singing your praises. He kept going on and on about how he likes Uncle David and wanted to see Uncle David etc. etc...

Asher makes "Birthday Soup"

One of the stories in Asher's current favourite book is about a Little Bear who makes birthday soup for his friends because he doesn't think his mother remembered his birthday. Asher makes birthday soup a lot. This time he's wearing my apron.

You wouldn't believe the things you can do with a pot like this. He's discovered he fits in it. He also likes to turn it over and play his favourite song "Kick Drum" by the Avett Brothers.

This is us hanging out one evening. Asher is making birthday soup and Bella is barely hanging on until bedtime. If you listen closely, you can hear her say "mum-mum-mum" - something she says when she's upset these days. I love it....

The Party

It's tradition to have a party when Anne Sue visits. We celebrate all sorts of things - anything we can think of actually. This party lasted two days. :-) and in preparation, Asher and I made party hats.
